Rosco Partners with Cascade Corporation to Design Backup Camera System for Forklifts

June 30th, 2013

Queens, NY – May 30, 2013 – Rosco, Inc. partners with Cascade Corp. to introduce a new Backup Camera System specially designed for indoor and outdoor forklifts. The new MaximEyes™ forklift backup camera kit increases safety with a unique forklift monitor mounting plate and camera clamp-bracket that is compatible with nearly all fork lift makes and models. The unique forklift mounting system allows the 7” multi-view monitor, and camera, to be easily and securely attached to a forklift cage structure without drilling. Rear View Camera Systems for forklifts have become necessary to lessen and prevent work place accidents. Rosco Backup Cameras provide rear and or mast/side views for greater all-around visibility during operations. The four camera maximum input and multi view capabilities allow forklift operators to heighten the awareness of their surroundings while operating their forklift efficiently. The MaximEyes™ forklift backup camera kit will be available June 1, 2013 through Cascade Corp. complete with one heated camera and all necessary harnesses. Additional cameras are sold separately.

“The MaximEyes™ Rear View Camera System is perfect for forklift operators backing into tight spots or moving in reverse when visibility is limited. It also has the capacity for an additional mast or side mounted cameras,” said Peter Plate, Rosco’s Director of Sales & Marketing. “Rosco continues to invest in its safety products and services, resulting in new innovations that focus on increasing safety, productivity and reducing damage costs.”

The MaximEyes™ Backup Camera System is complete with a 7” full-color LCD monitor with mounting plate and camera clamp-bracket specifically for forklifts. The waterproof monitor comes with a membrane touchpad for controls and the multi-view LCD monitor can accept up to 4 camera inputs. The heavy duty, heated backup camera provides 120° Field of Vision and allows up to 30 ft. of night time visibility with 6 infrared LEDs.

Backup Camera Systems prevent injuries and save lives. Rosco Rear View Camera Systems have become a necessity for the safe operation of lift trucks. An efficient rear view camera can also end up saving companies money by preventing accidents, expensive repairs and insurance claims. The average backing collision claim costs thousands of dollars in vehicle and property damage alone. If a personal injury claim is involved, the costs can reach up to the hundreds of thousands if not millions. Rosco is a leader in the rear view camera industry and offers a wide selection of products designed to improve safety for drivers, passengers and pedestrians.
