Rosco, Inc. to Display New Dual-Wall Rearview Mirror Arm That Reduces Mirror Vibration at California’s Public and Community Transportation Conference & Expo
Queens, NY – October 15, 2013 – Rosco, Inc. will be showcasing the new Dual-Wall High Strength Steel Arm and E-Z Bracket® HD Rearview Mirror Mounting System at the 2013 California’s Public and Community Transportation Conference from October 15 to the 18th. The redesigned E-Z Bracket® HD reduced mirror vibration amplitude and resonance by up to 50% and quickly became the new standard for all Ford E-Series fender applications. Rosco has reduced fender vibration further by introducing the Dual-Wall high strength steel arm technology on all fender mount arms for Ford and General Motors vehicles. Dual-Wall tubular arms dampen vibration more than single wall tubular arms and exceed the performance of all other arm designs.
“Dual-Wall arms will have the added strength at the mounting location where it is needed most.” said Peter Plate, Rosco’s Director of Sales & Marketing. “When all three of Rosco’s fender mount products are combined; the Dual-Wall arm, the E-Z Bracket® HD, and the AccuStyle® lightweight mirror head, problems with mirror vibration are eliminated.”
In addition to the Dual-Wall High Strength Steel Arm and E-Z Bracket® HD Rearview Mirror Mounting System, Rosco will also be displaying the Dual-Vision™ XC automotive event recorder with new third camera option, MOR-Vision Backup Camera System, and full line of rearview and crossview mirrors for transit buses. Rosco automotive vision safety products reduce blind spots, prevent injuries and save lives. An efficient rearview camera and mirror system can also end up saving fleets money by preventing accidents, expensive repairs and insurance claims. Considering the nominal cost, Rosco automotive vision safety products have become a necessity for all vehicle fleets. The average backing collision claim costs thousands of dollars if just the vehicle or property has been damaged, and hundreds of thousands, if not millions, if personal injury occurs.
